Hello, I’m Evelyn Ennor

After more than 15 years teaching business, government, and health industry employees how to manage stress, one fact really stands out.

The reality is that employee stress continues to build with the increasing and uncertain demands of life and the changing workplace.

As a holistic health educator, stress workshop designer, and facilitator, I work with you to create a positive workplace culture.

In other words, a culture where employees are engaged, creative, and productive. Not to mention, they’re healthier and happier too.

How to Manage Stress

What drives my approach to dealing with stress in the workplace?

A belief that some of the best ways to relieve stress are natural ones. That means taking preventative steps to control stress by addressing physical, emotional, mental (attitudes), and even spiritual components.

Why Work with Me

My approach to managing stress empowers employees. For one thing, it teaches them to recognize tension and its direct link to mental, emotional, and physical distress. That’s a big first step.

At the same time, it gives them easy-to-use coping strategies for stress that lead to a calmer, more balanced life as a result. That’s also a life less affected by illness.

Besides, participants value my stress workshops because they’re lively and fun and, well, stress relieving.

Stress Management Workshops Praise

M.Wan – The Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto)

“Evelyn’s warm and personable approach makes it easy for participants to share their experiences. Her wealth of knowledge, experience and true passion for her work has inspired us to pay closer attention to ourselves and incorporate simple ways to reduce stress.”

About Evelyn

My Path to Holistic Health and Wellness

My own journey to better health began when I was diagnosed with a chronic condition called residual stress.

Holistic Health Educator Evelyn Ennor

Simply put, I hadn’t given enough attention to releasing physical and mental tension from one stressful situation to another in my job and my life.

That state of sustained stress continued for years throughout my challenging but satisfying career in university management and counselling.

As a result, I became used to an unhealthy level of stress in my body. The slow, steady buildup took a toll on my physical health, especially my breathing, digestion, and sleep patterns.

The Upside of Stress

But as it turned out, my health crisis was really a gift in disguise.

By using a variety of holistic health approaches I learned practical ways to manage my stress. Once I experienced those life-changing benefits first-hand, I felt a strong need to share what I’d learned with others.

Along the way, I earned certification as a holistic health educator at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and a yoga teaching credential at the Sivananda Yoga Vendanta Centre.

I’ve also tickled funnybones with my laughter yoga training and calmed others as a member of the Canadian Reiki Association.

Since 2004 I’ve taught nearly 1,000 corporate wellness workshops for a national Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider.

And I bring that same dedication to promoting holistic health and wellness in the workplace through my own stress management workshops in Toronto.

Stress Management Workshops Praise

J. Moss – Communications Consultant

“I had the pleasure of taking one of Evelyn’s seminars through the workplace as well as calling upon her as a mentor of sorts. Her lovely demeanor and outlook made it easy to ask any questions comfortably. She does walk the talk which is refreshing. “

G. Lambert, Coach Practitioner

Stress Management Workshops

Stress Management Workshops That Rebalance and Re-energize

When people are your most precious resource they deserve to be nurtured.

That’s why I’ve created workshops to address one of the most pressing health issues in the workplace today.

What Can Employees Expect?

My stress management workshops give participants (both employees and managers) essential tools and exercises for effectively dealing with stress at work and outside the workplace.

All sessions take a holistic approach by emphasizing a mind-body-spirit connection. They’re especially designed to calm and strengthen the mind.

All workplace wellness workshops are highly interactive so there’s plenty of information sharing and time for questions. And they’re always fun.

Maybe best of all, many workshop techniques and tips to manage stress can easily be practiced on their own once the basics are learned.

What Can Employers Expect?

Workshops are designed to fit your specific needs, too. They can vary in length from a one-hour lunch-and-learn to a half-day (3-hour) session.

Or perhaps you’re looking for stress management workshops that cover a range of topics over several days. I can do that, too.

All workshops perfectly complement any employee health event, staff training day, or corporate wellness conference.

Stress Management Workshops Praise

“Everyone enjoyed your stress management session last week. You really impacted them in a positive way! I am thrilled that you will be facilitating our next session.

J. Doran – Nike

“We found Evelyn to be a friendly, thoroughly polished facilitator and consummate professional. You know during her commentaries that she speaks from experience and the heart. Her positive attitude is conveyed by a calm, warm, and engaging manner.”
