My own journey to better health began when I was diagnosed with a chronic condition called residual stress.
Simply put, I hadn’t given enough attention to releasing physical and mental tension from one stressful situation to another in my job and my life.
That state of sustained stress continued for years throughout my challenging but satisfying career in university management and counselling.
As a result, I became used to an unhealthy level of stress
in my body. The slow, steady buildup took a toll on my physical health, especially
my breathing, digestion, and sleep patterns.

But as it turned out, my health crisis was really a gift in disguise.
By using a variety of holistic health approaches I learned practical ways to manage my stress. Once I experienced those life-changing benefits first-hand, I felt a strong need to share what I’d learned with others.
